Nicolock Paving Stones has an immediate opening for a Customer Service Representative to work in our design center located in Suffolk County. Our outdoor living design center offers backyard living products including concrete pavers, retaining walls, grills, outdoor ovens and heaters, fire pits, etc. This position consists of interacting with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products or services and to handle customer service inquiries. The hours will be Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm.

Job Responsibilities:

• Play a critical role in providing excellent customer service and building positive relationships with our valued customers

• Assist customers in determining their needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions

• Assist with product display builds including display racks and in-ground displays

• Communicates information to customers regarding all stock, special order merchandise

• Routinely clean and maintain customer displays

• Dealer merchandising and marketing materials upkeep

• Demonstrates sincere appreciation to customers

Job Requirements:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required

• Customer service experience required with a minimum of 2 years in an "in-person" customer service-oriented role

• Valid drivers license and local travel may be required

• Need to be able to lift 50 lbs

• Proficient with Microsoft Office

• Landscape or design center experience a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
